Our origin story
Excel Deep Clean started as an internal lifeline. Our analytics team spent late nights untangling broken CSVs and VLOOKUP #N/A errors triggered by invisible characters. No off-the-shelf tool respected privacy requirements or preserved delicate formulas, so we built the engine we wished existed—one that scrubs data safely without exposing rows.

Hybrid cleaning engine
Files under 4.5MB run through ExcelJS on Vercel functions, preserving formatting. Large files switch to SheetJS in a dedicated Web Worker.

Role-based permissions, tamper-proof credits, and monitored billing ensure only approved teammates touch sensitive workbooks or spend budget.
In-memory privacy
No workbook content touches disk. Metadata logs only include file size, duration, and the Unicode classes we removed for troubleshooting.
